Blossom
Blossom
A woman in Central American robe
reveals her truth
with pictures of children.
Why is the U.S. at war
with children?
Can the next round of slaughter be stopped?
I believe she was sent by Heaven.
I wish she would stay forever.
One day, however, she must fly above
earthly empires of greed and war.
She will be home again
arrayed in a gown of millions of living lights.
May her truth
like spring rain
soak us to our core
to cause us all to blossom
to display
what is human
what is beautiful.
